PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner binder resin composition capable of giving an electrophotographic toner excellent in low-temperature fixability, smear resistance, roller separability, and charge stability in high temperature and high humidity; and an electrophotographic toner containing the binder resin composition.SOLUTION: In a toner binder resin composition containing an amorphous polyester (A), the amorphous polyester (A) is one obtained by condensation polymerization of a raw monomer containing an alcohol component (A-al) and a carboxylic acid component (A-ac) in the presence of a hydrocarbon wax having a hydroxyl group. The hydrocarbon wax having a hydroxyl group has a melting point of 60°C or more and 110°C or less, the content of the hydrocarbon wax having a hydroxyl group relative to a total 100 parts by mass of the alcohol component (A-al) and the carboxylic acid component (A-ac) is 0.5 parts by mass or more and 10 parts by mass or less, and the molar ratio between an aromatic diol and an aliphatic diol (aromatic diol/aliphatic diol) in the alcohol component (A-al) is 0/100 or more and 85/15 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
