摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent blockage due to water staying in a comb-shaped passage at a gas passage outlet.SOLUTION: In this fuel cell system, when stopping operation of a fuel cell, a scavenging gas is supplied from a scavenging gas supply part at a first scavenging gas flow rate and in a first scavenging time, and first scavenging operation for discharging water staying in the fuel cell to the outside of the gas passage is thus performed. After performing the first scavenging operation, second scavenging operation for supplying the scavenging gas from the scavenging gas supply part is performed at a second scavenging gas flow rate for discharging water staying in the gas lead-out passage to the outside of the gas lead-out passage, which is lower than the first scavenging gas flow rate, and in a second scavenging time shorter than the first scavenging time, with water staying in an upstream side gas passage connected to the upstream side of the gas lead-out passage having the comb-shaped passage connected to the gas passage outlet.
