发明名称 Flow through heater
摘要 An electrical heating device for medical equipment is provided. The heating device includes a body, which may be an insulating body forming a channel therethrough for fluid travel, an insulating material surrounding the body, and a heater surrounding the body and the insulating material. In other forms, the electrical heating device for medical equipment has a conducting body, instead of an insulating body, forming a channel therethrough for fluid travel. A base dielectric layer is disposed on the conducting body, and a heater surrounds the base dielectric layer and the conducting body. A top dielectric layer is disposed on the heater, and a protection housing surrounds the top dielectric layer.

主权项 1. An electrical heating device for medical equipment, the heating device comprising: an insulating body forming a channel therethrough for fluid travel; an insulating material surrounding the insulating body; a heater surrounding the insulating material and the insulating body; and a protection housing that is preformed and that defines a cavity to receive the heater in the cavity, wherein the protection housing includes opposing first and second ends that define a longitudinal direction of the protection housing, an inner portion extending from the first end to the second end along the longitudinal direction, a side portion disposed at each of the first and second ends and at each side of the heater, and wherein the inner portion and the side portion define the cavity to receive the heater and the insulating material therein such that the inner portion is surrounded by the heater and the insulating material and is sandwiched between the insulating body and the insulating material to separate the heater and the insulating material from the insulating body and such that neither the heater nor the insulating material make direct contact with the insulating body.
