PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device capable of improving a sweep speed, and having a sweep rate of 1 MHz or higher, and an optical tomographic imaging device using the laser device as a light source. SOLUTION: The laser device includes a ring oscillator. The ring oscillator has a structure in which a first modulator, a normal dispersion region, a second modulator, and an abnormal dispersion region are arranged in this order, and a gain medium is contained in the arrangement of them. A modulation signal for the second modulator is formed so that the phase modulation is given to a gate delay time between the first and second modulators as a signal obtained by superposing periodic phase modulation on a periodic modulation signal for the first modulator.
