<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver which has simple configuration and establishes synchronism in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver comprises: a receiving means 10 for receiving digital broadcast; a demodulation means 11 for demodulating a reception signal received by the receiving means to output a signal of the unit of a frame, including a plurality of symbols; detection means 13, 14 for detecting symbol positions in the signal of the unit of a frame from the demodulation means; a decoding means 12 for decoding the signal of the unit of a frame from the demodulation means in accordance with the symbol positions; a symbol counter 15 which outputs count output prescribing the symbol positions in decoding in the decoding means; and a control means 15 for controlling counting of the symbol counter on the basis of the symbol positions detected by the detection means and a count value of the symbol counter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
