<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for preventing deterioration in demodulation performance by detecting and correcting a DC offset by using a constant envelope modulation system. <P>SOLUTION: The receiver has: a quadrature demodulator 14 for performing quadrature demodulation to a received signal to output I phrase/Q phase base band signals; a conversion part 30 for performing the polar coordinate conversion of the I phase/Q phase base band signals to output amplitude information and phase information; operation parts 32 to 36 and 38 to 41 for determining in which region on an IQ plane a received signal exists on the basis of the phase information form the conversion part, and acquiring an average value of amplitude information at each region on the IQ plane on the basis of the determination result; and decision means 42, 43 for deciding each DC offset value of the I phase/Q phase base band signals on the basis of the average value of the amplitude information at each region acquired by a processing part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
