PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal shaving attachment, preventing shavings generated in the process of shaving from remaining on an internal tooth of the internal gear, and improving working accuracy. SOLUTION: In this internal shaving attachment, a shaving cutter 3 and the internal gear held in a workpiece chuck 2 are meshed with each other while a crossed axes angle is given thereto, and while at least one of the shaving cutter 3 and the work chuck 2 is driven in rotation, the tooth flank of the internal gear is finished by machining. The workpiece chuck 2 and the shaving cutter 3 are supported movably toward and away from each other in the vertical direction with the workpiece chuck 2 higher, and also supported to relatively move in the horizontal direction. The workpiece chuck 2 is constructed to hold the internal gear to open on the lower side with the axis of rotation of the internal gear pointed to the vertical direction so that the shavings generated in machining using the shaving cutter 3 fall downward from the internal gear.
