<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a game controller comprising a photosensor disposed to detect incident light in a specific direction usable even if the photosensor is directed in the direction other than the specific one. <P>SOLUTION: The controller mounting device 100 is installed on the game controller 1230. In the controller mounting device 100, the game controller 1230 is housed in a controller housing part 102 to be held and fixed by a holding arm part 118. A light path changing part 106 is provided on the tip of the controller housing part 102. In the light path changing part 106, a mirror 120 forming diagonal angle of 45 degrees to the longitudinal direction of the game controller 1230 is installed.
