PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of a can body welded part capable of precisely inspecting the quality of the end part in the longitudinal direction of the can body welded part at a high speed. SOLUTION: The inspection method of the can body welded part includes a waveform forming process for forming a reference waveform A along the longitudinal direction of the welded part of a can body, a judging region setting process for setting a plurality of judging regions B, C and D on the basis of the reference waveform A, an allowable range setting process for setting an allowable range composed of an upper limit value (h) and a lower limit value (i) in the respective judging regions B, C and D, a temperature measuring process for measuring the temperature of the welded part, and a quality judging process for judging good when the measured temperature is within the allowable range in the judging regions and judging badness when the measured temperature is out of the allowable range. The waveform forming process forms a waveform containing a rising change part A-1, a temperature stable part A-2 and a falling change part A-3 as the reference waveform A of the end part of the welded part and the judging region setting process sets the judging region B of the end part of the welded part to the position corresponding to the temperature stable part A-2.
