PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel antibacterial agent that sufficiently exerts antibacterial activity to VRSA as well.SOLUTION: An antibacterial medical compound contains a glycopeptide-based antibacterial compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and a β lactam-based antibacterial compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as active ingredients, and exerts synergistic effect by matching in vivo kinetics of the glycopeptide-based antibacterial compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and the β lactam-based antibacterial compound or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. It is preferable that the glycopeptide-based antibacterial compound is vancomycin. It is preferable that the β lactam-based antibacterial compound is a cepham-based antibacterial compound. And it is preferable that the in vivo kinetics is a half-life in blood.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
