PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply constituted toner recovery device capable of closely charging toner in the whole capacity of a waste toner recovery container in a compressed state, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the toner recovery device. SOLUTION: The toner recovery device 21 comprises: the toner recovery container 23 for storing the recovered waste toner; and an eccentric spiral 29 for transferring the waste toner guided into the toner recovery container 23 in a direction away from a toner recovery port 25 (direction shown by an arrow B). The eccentric spiral 29 is disposed along the longitudinal direction of the toner recovery container 23, both ends of the eccentric spiral 29 are rotatably supported at the right and left surfaces 23a and 23b of the toner recovery container 23.
