PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load control circuit capable of easily detecting switching operation and capable of coping with the switching operation even by a low performance control means. SOLUTION: An operating switch 21 of a switch slave unit 20 is arranged on a branch wiring BL1 branched from the main current wiring ML1, a photocoupler PC1 in order to detect the switching operation is arranged on the branch wiring BL1 in a switch mother unit 10, and on an output side of that photocoupler PC1, a waveform shaping circuit is installed which is composed of a capacitor C1 and a reset circuit 16. In this waveform shaping circuit, an output voltage waveform of the photocoupler PC1 reflecting an energizing voltage waveform of the branch wiring BL1 is shaped by utilizing charging and discharging operations of the capacitor C1, and an output signal of the reset circuit 16 output to a microcomputer 12 is converted into a binary signal corresponding to the switching operation.
