<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the side plate from being a cause of hindrance in loading and unloading on the narrow road and so on in such a way that an operation such as to put down the side plate of the burden carrier through vertical movement downward is made possible by means of a link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:Guide rails 2 are fixed on the lower side of the burden carrier of a truck, they are engaged with guide rollers 5 at the upper end part of a rod 4, and guide pins 6 at the lower end part of the rod 4 are engaged with engaging holes 8a of arms 8 which are installed at the lower end of the side plate 7 of the burden carrier. Guide rollers 14 are provided through arms 13 at the upper end on the side plate 7, and said rollers 14 are engaged with guide grooves 15g on the struts 15 which are installed erect at the corner parts of the burden carrier. One end of a link 9 is fixed with a pivot 10 at the intermediate part of the rod 4, and the intermediate part of the link 9 is coupled through links 24, 26 to a plate-shaped frame 12. And the intermediate part of the link 26 is coupled to the intermediate part of a link 21 which is energized in one direction by means of a spring 16 via an arcuate link 29.</p> |
