PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide austenitic Fe-Ni-Cr alloy for a coated tube excellent in not only corrosion resistance of a base metal and a weld zone, but also workability of the weld zone.SOLUTION: The austenitic Fe-Ni-Cr alloy for a coated tube contains, by mass%, C:0.005 to 0.03%, Si:0.15 to 1.00%, Mn:2.5% or less, P:0.030% or less, S:0.0020% or less, Ni:18 to 40%, Cr:18 to 30%, Mo:0.3 to 4.0%, Co:4.0% or less, Cu:0.03 to 0.30%, Al:0.03 to 0.45% and one or more kinds selected from among Ti, Nb and V each in the range of 0.10 to 0.50%, the above compositions satisfying (1.5 Ni+Mn+1.5Co+4.6Cu-6.9Cr-16.3Mo-27.6Si-3.3Al≥-180) and ((Ti+Nb+V)/C≥10). |
