The objective of the present invention is to provide a plasma evaporator that evaporates liquid to be evaporated (for example, urea-water solution or ammonia water) within a short time. A plasma evaporator, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: an arc generation unit that generates a plasma arc; a high-temperature heat density unit that is connected to the arc generation unit through a first passage that is narrow, and focuses the generated arc to increase the density of the arc; an evaporation space unit that forms an evaporation space that expands from the high-temperature heat density unit; a spray nozzle that is installed to be directed toward the evaporation space unit and sprays liquid to be evaporated toward the arc that expands in the evaporation space; and a vapor discharge unit that is connected to the evaporation space unit through a second passage that is narrow, and discharges the vapor of the liquid to be evaporated, which is evaporated in the evaporation space unit.
