PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an absorbent article to be stably maintained in a bent shape so as to protrude to the skin side along a polygonal line while ensuring excellent absorptivity.SOLUTION: The absorbent article has a longer direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction orthogonal to one another. The absorbent article has an absorber with an absorbent core having liquid absorptive fibers. A polygonal line is provided along the longer direction for guiding the absorber to protrude and bend towards the skin side in the thickness direction. The absorbent core formed at the position of the polygonal line in the width direction has: a low density part where the distribution density of the liquid absorptive fibers is lower than that of the surrounding part; a skin side layer positioned closer to the skin side in the thickness direction than the low density part; and a non-skin side layer positioned closer to the non-skin side in the thickness direction than the low density part. The low density part contains the liquid absorptive fibers. A part of the skin side layer corresponding to the polygonal line bends so as to protrude towards the skin side in the thickness direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
