摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect deterioration of a catalyst electrode layer while suppressing a complicated work for measuring resistance of the catalyst electrode layer. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes a low-temperature-caused deterioration value acquisition unit for acquiring a low-temperature-caused deterioration value which reflects a degree of deterioration of a catalyst electrode layer advancing due to its exposure under a temperature condition below the freezing point, a catalyst resistance measurement unit for measuring the resistance value of the catalyst electrode, a resistance measurement decision unit for determining whether it is necessary to measure a resistance value of the catalyst electrode layer, and a measurement control unit for carrying out a measurement of the resistance value of the catalyst layer by the catalyst resistance measurement unit, when the resistance measurement unit determines it is necessary to measure the resistance value of the catalyst layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
