PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a secure emergency call from a present location to an optimal emergency line in an IP telephone system. SOLUTION: An IP telephone connection system for use in the IP telephone system connecting a telephone apparatus to an IP network 13, and audio data are transmitted and received via the IP network 13. Current location information of an IP telephone set is acquired, for example, as GPS information or base station information of portable telephone. Based on the above current location information, selection of the closest police station or emergency center 17 is performed, and the emergency call is connected thereto.
