PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of applying an appropriate viscosity to a dielectric layer sheet made by forming a coating consisting of a composition containing glass paste on a base material. SOLUTION: The method includes a coating process of coating a paint on the base material 14, and a drying process of drying the paint coated on the base material 14. An amount of moisture evaporated from the paint from the start of drying to the drying point in the drying process is to be not less than 0.4 g/(m<SP>2</SP>s) and not more than 1.0 g(m<SP>2</SP>s), and a glossiness on the surface of the coated film soon after the drying process is to be not less than 5 and not more than 30.
