PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test method and a test apparatus for a DA converter, and DA converter by which a high-accuracy operation test can be simply and easily performed. SOLUTION: Cyclic pattern data are input into a digital-analog (DA) converter that converts predetermined digital data into analog data. The cyclic pattern data have a symmetric waveform when output from the DA converter. Even-numbered high harmonic components 2f<SB>0</SB>, 4f<SB>0</SB>with respect to a fundamental frequency f<SB>0</SB>of the cyclic pattern data are observed. When there are no even-numbered high harmonic components 2f<SB>0</SB>, 4f<SB>0</SB>, the DA converter is determined to operate well. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
