PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that can be reduced in overall thickness of itself while ensuring sufficient barrier properties against water and oxygen so as to prevent deterioration of luminous layers, a sealing structure thereof, an electric apparatus with the display device, and a method of fabricating the display device. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the sealing structure for sealing an electronic element section 3 by laminating a multi-layered sealing membrane 14b, formed by depositing flattening resin layers 14c and barrier layers 14d each by more than one, on the electronic element section 3 formed at least on the substrate 2, the structure being characterized in that an annular blocking portion 14a surrounding the electronic element section 3 inside is formed on the substrate 2, and the flattening resin layers 14c are formed inside the blocking region 14a.
