PURPOSE: An electrode protection film for plasma address liquid crystal display is provided to protect the electrode from an external impact and the environment of the high temperature in discharging of electricity. CONSTITUTION: An electrode protection film for plasma address liquid crystal display includes a positive electrode(32), a negative electrode(34), a transparent dielectric(62), and a film(70) for protecting the electrode. The film(70) for protecting the electrode is formed between the positive electrode(32) and the negative electrode(34) and the transparent dielectric(62) covers both electrodes. The film(70) for protecting the electrode maintains the stable resistance value by preventing increasing to Milliohms unit of the resistance value. The film(70) for protecting the electrode is made of the chemical compound of Nitride and Carbide.
