The method involves providing separate process blocks for a process sequence to be simulated, registering a number of connected process blocks, assembling the connected blocks as one process block and connecting the process blocks to produce a simulator. Graphical User Interface components are provided and defined after the connection step. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for constructing a simulator and a method of supporting simulator construction.
