PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve traveling characteristics of a cage, in particular, by improving a type formed of a retainer part, at least, partially surrounded with a plastic support part and manufactured of a metal thin plate in the cage for the roller bearing composed of two parts. SOLUTION: This cage for the roller bearing is so formed that the both sides of the retainer part having a pocket for receiving rolling elements are covered with single plastic support parts with the same thickness respectively, the plastic support parts extend to an approximately traveling raceway region of the rolling elements, and prescribed gaps s are formed between the traveling raceway and the plastic support parts respectively while taking account of the contraction dimension of the plastic material. |
