TWIST TYPE MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND HINGE DEVICE THEREOF

A twist type mobile terminal and its hinge device are provided to provide certain information always through a display unit of an upper folder even without having an auxiliary display unit at the opposite side of the display unit. A lower folder(10) includes a key pad. An upper folder(30) includes a display unit. A hinge member(20) twist-rotates the upper folder(30) when simultaneously opening or closing the upper folder(30). The first bevel gear(12) is fixed at an upper end of the lower folder(10). The second bevel gear(32) is fixed at a lower end portion of the upper folder(30) and in mesh with the first bevel gear(12) in a manner of being perpendicular to a vertical axis of the first bevel gear(12), so as to twist-rotate the upper folder(30) simultaneously when the upper folder(30) is opened or closed.
