PRINTING METHOD USING PROCESSLESS PRINTING PLATE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method using a processless printing plate material which is improved in initial inking properties more than usual and excellent in a printed image quality and which exhibits excellent characteristics particularly in the case when a grained aluminum substrate is used.

SOLUTION: In the printing method using the processless printing plate material, the printing plate material having an image forming function layer on a base having a hydrophilic surface is subjected to image exposure and then mounted on a printing machine and dampening water and ink are supplied to the surface of the printing plate material so as to remove a non-image part and to conduct printing. Herein the content of a phosphoric acid compound in the dampening water is 0.005 to less than 0.04 mol per one liter of the dampening water.
