A hydrodynamic bearing motor is provided to prevent the leakage of oil during the operation of the motor by having a taper chamber which stores the oil using a capillary tube phenomenon when operating the motor and to prevent the separation of a rotor. A hydrodynamic bearing motor includes a stator, and a rotor. The stator consists of a base(110), and a hollow sleeve(120) coupled to a center part of the base(110) and having a flange at an upper part. The rotor consists of a shaft(150) which forms an oil gap in a hollow of the sleeve(120) to form journal bearings and is rotatably coupled, a hub(140) which has a cylindrical wall(141) at a bottom and forms an oil gap with a top surface of the flange to form an upper thrust bearing, and a thrust plate(160) coupled to an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall(141) and forming a lower thrust bearing with a bottom of the flange.
