<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational information detector excellent in assemblability of an encoder (member with rotational information to be detected) and a sensor (detecting member), and capable of reducing an assembling space to cope with compactification of the detector, and an image forming device provided with the detector. <P>SOLUTION: This rotational information detector is provided with the member 110 with the rotational information to be detected, engaged with a rotary shaft 101, and formed with positional information for detecting the rotational information of the rotary shaft, and the detecting member 113 for reading the positional information of the member with the rotational information to be detected, and for detecting the rotational information of the member with the rotational information to be detected. An engaging protrusion 111d is provided in either of a driving gear 106 engaged in a position opposed to the member with the rotational information to be detected and for transmitting drive to the rotary shaft, or the member with the rotational information to be detected, an engaging recess 106b is provided in the other, and rotational directions of the member with the rotational information to be detected and the driving gear are fixed with respect to the rotary shaft, by engaging the engaging protrusion with the engaging recess. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
