PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing device which can prevent intrusion of slurry into an irregular fitting part, and which has a high reliability and a long service life.SOLUTION: A wheel bearing device comprises a wheel bearing 16 which comprises: an outer ring 15 on an inner peripheral surface of which outer raceway surfaces 24, 25 of plural rows are formed; a hub wheel 11 and an inner ring 12 which have inner orbital surfaces 18, 22 of plural rows facing the outer orbital surfaces 24, 25 on outer peripheral surfaces thereof; and rolling elements 13, 14 of plural rows interposed the outer orbital surfaces 24, 25 of the outer ring 15 and the inner orbital surfaces 18, 22 of the hub wheel 11 and the inner ring 12. The hub wheel 11 of the wheel bearing 16 and an outer joint member 33 of a constant velocity universal joint 17 are integrated by a bolt 49. In the wheel bearing device, a contact part 55 between a shoulder 54 of the outer joint member 33 and a caulking part 23 of the hub wheel 11, and a contact part 56 between a head 52 of the bolt 49 and a concaved part 53 of the hub wheel 11 are coated with resin foams 57, 58.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
