<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system having a power-saving control function comfortably usable by both a physically unimpaired person and a visually handicapped person. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 10 which is an information processor, is provided with a first timer 201 clocking a first time, and a second timer 202 clocking a second time different from the first time. The first timer 201 and the second timer 202 are switched according to whether the user is the physically unimpaired person or the visually handicapped person, and when the residual time of the switched timer is up, the image forming apparatus 10 is shifted to a power-saving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
