A method for transmitting multi-system radio traffic data based on a common public radio interface, includes: inserting M data of the system period into N CPRI basic frames to transmit according to the common multiple relation between the CPRI basic frame period and the system period, so that the traffic data rate matches the CPRI interface rate, which is easy to realize the frame synchronization; filling uniformly M data of the system period into N CPRI basic frame traffic data containers as possible, the filling manner can be designed on the traffic demand and so on, to ensure the IQ data rate average with each other after the container mapping; realizing multi-system traffic data simultaneous transmission at the CPRI interface, according to the division on the CPRI basic frame traffic data container corresponding to the different RE and different-system IQ data at the same CPRI interface.
