The method involves determining a temperature of a clutch (14). A threshold value of the speed difference on the clutch is determined depending on the determined temperature. The clutch torque is reduced, when the speed difference reaches or exceeds the temperature dependent preset-threshold value. The method is carried out only by the actuated clutch and a state of permanent slip is limited by non-actuated clutch.
