PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading apparatus that can read an image with highly accurate and stable density and color while performing illumination with a color sequential projector thereof.SOLUTION: An image reading apparatus 100 includes: an image pickup unit 103 which images an original that is mounted on a mounting surface 101a; a projecting unit 104 composed of respective LED light sources R, G, B; and a control unit 106 which controls the on and off of the respective color sources of the projecting unit 104 in synchronization with the read timing of an image, and controls the imaging unit 103 to sequentially take a first black image, a first color image, and a second black image during the imaging by the image pickup unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
