PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contactlessly measure a rising-up amount of a coke cake to prevent a production quantity from decreasing by preventing the rising-up clog of a coke oven.SOLUTION: A method for measuring a rising-up amount of a coke cake to measure a rising-up amount observed when pushing out a coke cake produced in a carbonizing chamber of a coke oven after coal carbonization includes placing a heat-proof microwave distance meter to any of charge openings of the carbonizing chamber after the carbonization, measuring a coke cake height right under the charge opening, and finding a rising-up amount of the coke cake by calculating on the basis of the measured value. A device for measuring a rising-up amount of a coke cake is also provided. |
