PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a sintered compact by using a compound, in which shape deformation of a compact is suppressed extremely before and after an organic binder is removed.SOLUTION: The method for producing the sintered compact comprises: an alkali treatment step of bringing the compact, which contains the organic binder and zirconia, into contact with an alkali aqueous solution; and a sintering step of sintering the alkali-treated compact. It is preferable that the alkali aqueous solution is at least one of the group consisting of a sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, a potassium hydroxide aqueous solution, and a tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide aqueous solution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
