POWER FACTOR COMPENSATING DEVICE BY USING THE HYSTERESIS OF AN INPUT VOLTAGE

PURPOSE: A power factor compensating device is provided to stably supply the voltage into a terminal by multiplying information of first and second resistances with an output of an error amplifier. CONSTITUTION: A power factor compensating device comprises a converter portion(100) which rectifies an alternating power by using a bridge diode and outputs the first voltage by introducing the rectifying signal into an inductor. The converter portion(100) outputs a DC voltage by controlling the signal by using a switching device. An output voltage detecting portion(200) outputs the second voltage by detecting the level of the DC voltage. A voltage detecting portion(310) is provided to detect high and low hysteresis voltages. A comparing and calculating section(400) is provided to compare an error voltage with the third voltage and with the high and low hysteresis voltages.
