<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability at the time of removing a panel from a frame. <P>SOLUTION: A patch panel is equipped with a modular jack 1, a panel 10 which holds a plurality of modular jacks 1, and a frame 20 where a plurality of panels 10 are attached so as to be freely mounted and removed. A plurality of window holes 21 in which the panels 10 are fit are opened in the front of a frame 20. The panel 10 is provided with a release piece 18 which has an engaging part 18b to engage with an engaged part 24 formed in the frame 20 in a state that it is fitted in the window hole 21 and a operating part 18a capable of manual operation, and releases engagement between the engaged part 24 and the engaging part 18b when the user operates the operating part 18a. Therefore, if the user operates the operating part 18a by a hand, the release piece 18 flexes and releases the engagement between the engaged part 24 and the engaging part 18b, whereby the user can remove the panel 10 from the frame 20 without using a tool. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
