<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator of a variable valve gear capable of preventing the deterioration by heat and oil, while preventing the occurrence of looseness in a connecting place of a driving shaft and an output shaft. <P>SOLUTION: This actuator has an electric motor having the driving shaft 36a facing an opening part of a housing, a ball screw shaft of opposing a cross-sectional square tip part 40b from the axial direction to a cross-sectional square tip part 36b of the driving shaft, and a metallic connecting member 48 connecting a tip part of the driving shaft to a tip part of the output shaft. The connecting member has a body 54 having a cross-sectional square insertion hole 54a for mutually inserting and arranging the tip part of the driving shaft and the tip part of the ball screw shaft inside from the opposite side in the axial direction, and a plate leaf-like spring member 55 fixed to an upper wall part 54a of the body by a machine screw 56 and pressing and energizing the respective tip parts of the respective shafts to the bottom surface 54f side of the insertion hole from above by both bending end parts 55b and 55b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
