<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of noise due to the vibration of an LED substrate used in LED backlight. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device uses an LED backlight to drive LEDs by PWM control. The LED substrate 1, on which the LEDs are disposed has a surface pattern 201 provided with the LEDs 2 on a mounting surface, and a back pattern 202 provided on the back thereof. The back pattern 202 is not a circuit pattern for driving the LEDs but rather is provided for dissipating heat and preventing the substrate from warping. The back pattern 202 has a grounded structure. As an example of the grounded structure, a conductive tape 205 is pasted on the back pattern 202, and the conductive tape 205 is made to contact with a backlight chassis 101 so as to make them have electrical continuity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
