PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus or the like which is capable of calculating the amount of toner accumulated on removal accumulation means for removing and accumulating the toner adhered to transfer means from the toner image of a transfer body.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a primary transfer part 10 sequentially transferring a plurality of kinds of toner images formed by respective image forming units 2Y, 2M, 2C, and 2K to an intermediate transfer belt 15 and a secondary transfer part 20 collectively transferring toner images for image formation transferred on the intermediate transfer belt 15 to a paper P. A roll cleaner 40 removing and accumulating the toner adhered to a secondary transfer roll 22 is provided below the secondary transfer roll 22 of the secondary transfer part 20. An image formation control part 80 calculates the amount of the toner removed from the secondary transfer roll 22 and accumulated on the roll cleaner 40, from the operation state of the secondary transfer part 20 and the shift rate of the toner shifted to the secondary transfer roll 22. |
