A system comprises an elongated device, and the system allows acquisition of temperature-related data of high spatial and temporal resolution from hollow structure together with other relevant data of physical or chemical variables at the same time. The device comprises infrared sensors (2) or visible light sensors, which are used to obtain thermal or color images from the inner surface during imposed change of the temperature in the lumen of the hollow structure. It is possible to evaluate thermal variation when the inner surface returns to pre-change thermal conditions. The system further comprises rotators, injection pumps, a control unit and a display operably coupled to one or more of data acquisition and processing system. |
