PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a split type coated optical fiber tape which can be easily and reliably split in each of coated optical fiber tapes and can be easily and reliably produced even under high linear velocity conditions and to provide a method for producing the split type coated optical fiber tape. SOLUTION: The split type coated optical fiber tape 1 is obtained by coating and integrating coated optical fibers 2a-2h with batch coating resins 5a, 5b and further coating the resulting coated optical fiber tapes 6a, 6b with a linking resin 7. This linking resin 7 is obtained by curing a UV curable resin composition which satisfies the formula 1.0×10<-4> <=(W.N/100Mw )<=4.0×10<-4> (where W is the proportion of a urethane acrylate compound contained in the resin composition; N is the number of urethane groups in one molecule of the urethane acrylate compound; and Mw is the average molecular weight of the urethane acrylate compound).
