Subject of the invention is the layout of the door lock of a washing machine and light indication of the delayed door locking status. The lock (2) and signalling light indicator (3) are combined to form one single component. To install the signalling light indicator (3) with corresponding electrical equipment (basically a negative glow lamp (4) and with a resistor (5) linked in series or based on an LED diode) there is space allocated inside the lock (2) enclosure or the signalling light indicator (3) with corresponding electrical equipment and the enclosure is applied to the lock enclosure as well as linked to the electrical equipment so that it does not represent a free aggregation. One single four-wire cable leads to the enclosure (1). The enclosure (8) can be light transparent or a negative glow lamp (4) is covered towards the user by coloured glass or an optical lens (8).
