The present invention provides dehydroleucodine derivatives. In particular, the present invention provides amine derivatives of dehydroleucodine and methods of using dehydroleucodine and the amine derivatives of dehydroleucodine to inhibit the growth of cancer cells.

1. A compound comprising Formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof: wherein:
R1 and R2 are independently hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, or substituted hydrocarbyl, or R1 and R2 together form an optionally substituted, saturated or unsaturated, carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring or ring system;R3 is hydrogen, hydroxy, amine, cyano, halo, nitro, phospho, sulfo, thiol, hydrocarbyl, or substituted hydrocarbyl;R4, R5, R6, R7, R8, and R9 are independently hydrogen, hydroxy, amine, cyano, halo, nitro, phospho, sulfo, thiol, hydrocarbyl, or substituted hydrocarbyl; or any pair of R4 and R5, R6 and R7, or R8 and R9 together form ═O, ═S, ═CH2, or ═NRa, wherein Ra is hydrogen, hydrocarbyl, or substituted hydrocarbyl;Z1 and Z2 are independently oxygen, sulfur, nitrogen, or CH2; and is a single or double bond.
