The present invention relates to a purification method of yellow phosphorus. More particularly, the purification method of yellow phosphorus comprises the following steps of: removing impurities from yellow phosphorus by mixing an oxidizing agent to the yellow phosphorus; and removing impurities by adding a solution including an additive having a particular functional group in the chemical structure to the yellow phosphorus from which impurities are removed, and mixing the resultant product. The purification method effectively removes impurities from yellow phosphorous used as a raw material of phosphoric acid, thereby enhancing purity of phosphoric acid. The additive is represented by chemical formula 1, wherein R is an alkyl group having 1-5 carbon atoms. |
