CONTRA-ROTATING AXIAL BLOWER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contra-rotating axial blower capable of reducing noise at a target operating point without changing a front stage impeller, a rear impeller and an intermediate stationary part.

SOLUTION: An annular rib 31 which keeps a projected surface 29 for generating a turbulent flow heading to a radially inside of an inner wall part 4 and continuously extending in a circumferential direction at a position closer to the rear stage impeller 27 than an intermediate stationary part 19, is fixed to an inner wall part 4 of a casing 3. A fluid hitting the projected surface 29 for generating a turbulent flow is partly disturbed to become the turbulent flow before entering into a region where the rear stage impeller 27 exists. The turbulent flow prevents the exfoliation of the fluid from the surface of a rear stage blade 23 with respect to a fluid flowing along the surface of the rear stage blade 23 of the rear stage impeller 27 to be discharged.
