PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide AV equipment including an image display device capable of freely changing the size, position and transmission rate of on-screen display of a menu screen or the like on the user-desired level, and performing screen display that cannot prevent video of a program or the like being viewed. SOLUTION: The AV equipment is provided while includes a screen display setting device, in which when changing display attributes, such as display position, size and transmission rate of a menu screen or the like, a key accompanied with remote controller directionality is operated to continuously make these display attributes shifted, the menu screen is temporarily displayed on an image display device in accordance with the continuously shifted display attributes, and any arbitrary one of continuously shifting the temporary display is selected and determined.
