<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat management device capable of managing, using an inexpensive and simple arrangement, whether or not a purchaser of a seat ticket such as a train ticket is using the right seat, a seat confirmation method, and a computer program. <P>SOLUTION: The seat management device for managing whether or not a purchaser of a seat ticket for a reserved ticket is using the right seat communicates with a mobile terminal having a camera function. The seat management device includes a reception means for receiving information shown on the surface of the seat ticket owned by the purchaser and characteristic seat ID information visibly displayed at the seat, the information being sent from the mobile terminal that has photographed the surface of the seat ticket and the seat ID information; and a collation means for collating the received information shown on the ticket surface with the ticket ID information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
