THREAD CUTTING DEVICE AND TOOL FOR ATTACHING THREAD CUTTING RING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thread cutting device allowing easy and quick replacement of a thread cutting ring.

SOLUTION: This thread cutting device 1 is equipped with: a hollow spindle 11 which is rotatably supported and is driven; and the thread cutting ring 3 arranged in the hollow spindle 11. The hollow spindle 11 and the thread cutting ring 3 are connected to each other by bayonet connecting parts 13, 15 and 27. A plurality of lugs 27 directed to the radial direction outside are provided in the thread cutting ring 3. The lugs 27 form a bayonet connection with grooves 13 and 15 in the hollow spindle 11.
