CELLS EXPRESSING CD40L FOR ACTIVATION OF B CELLS

A cell expressing CD40L ligand (CD40L) for B cell activation is provided to obtain an activated B cell whose antigen presentation and proliferation are improved and develop a drug of antivirus or anti-tumor. A cell expressing CD40L for enhancing B cell proliferation and antigen presentation is manufactured by cloning the CD40L gene from a CD4+ T cell and transducing to HLA (human leukocyte antigen) deficient animal cell. The CD40L comprises a human CD40L gene having a sequence of the sequence number 1(SEQ ID NO:1). The HLA deficient animal cell is K562(ATCC CCL 243). A method for producing the K562 cell line which expresses CD40L comprises: a step of cloning from cDNA (complementary DNA) by using restrict enzyme, EcoRI and NotI; and a step of inserting CD40L into the expression vector and transducing into the K562 cell line.
